Winnipeg Jets prospect Edison Engle has changed his college commitment from Ohio State to Western Michigan University. Engle, a 2025 sixth-round draft pick, recently concluded his first season with the Brantford Bulldogs in the OHL, where he recorded one goal and four assists during the playoffs, ultimately falling short in the Conference Championship against the Barrie Colts.
His decision means he will join another Jets prospect, Zach Nehring, at Western Michigan instead of playing alongside Sascha Boumedienne, who transferred to Ohio State. Engle's unique path includes a previous stint in the USHL before his OHL season.
The Jets' prospect pipeline continues to evolve with this change in commitment, reflecting the team's focus on developing future talent.
