Keller Reflects on Season and Future Plans

Antoine Keller, a goaltending prospect for the Washington Capitals, discussed his challenging 2025-26 season and his aspirations for the future. After beginning the season in North America with the Hershey Bears and the South Carolina Stingrays, where he recorded a 3.54 goals-against average, Keller moved to Europe to play for HC Ajoie in Switzerland.

He cited family matters for his request to join the Swiss team, which allowed him to be closer to home in France. With HC Ajoie, Keller had a better performance, posting a 3.05 goals-against average in 14 games and earning a spot on France's Olympic team.

Despite losing all three games, he was recognized for his efforts against stronger teams like Canada. Keller plans to return to HC Ajoie for another season but hopes to make it back to North America within the next year and remains committed to his development in a competitive league.

He attended the Capitals development camp in July, showing his ongoing connection with the organization and eagerness to return. At just 21 years old, Keller believes there is still time for him to develop into an NHL-caliber goaltender, marking him as a notable prospect in the Capitals' focus on nurturing young talent.
