The Vegas Golden Knights have advanced to the Stanley Cup Final after sweeping the Colorado Avalanche in the Western Conference Finals, clinching the series with a 2-1 victory in Game 4. This marks the Golden Knights' third appearance in the Stanley Cup Final in just nine seasons.
They now await the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Montreal Canadiens, with potential start dates for the final series announced as June 2 or June 4, depending on the outcome of the Eastern series, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Meanwhile, former head coach Bruce Cassidy has expressed frustration over being blocked from interviewing with other teams, including the Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings, a situation acknowledged by Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon, who stated that the decision was influenced by external leaks.
As the Golden Knights enjoy their playoff success, management is also strategizing future roster moves in light of salary cap challenges to maintain competitiveness in the league, as reported by The Hockey News.
