The St. Louis Blues concluded their season with an exhilarating 7-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins, marking their third consecutive win. Jimmy Snuggerud was a standout performer, scoring two goals and providing two assists, reaching the 20-goal mark in his rookie season.
The Blues rallied from a 4-1 deficit, showcasing their resilience as they tied the game at four by the end of the second period and scored three more in the final frame. Dylan Holloway also had a notable night with two goals and an assist, while goaltender Jordan Binnington made 18 saves despite a shaky start.
This season, however, was bittersweet for the Blues as they were eliminated from playoff contention for the third consecutive year. On the roster front, the Blues signed defenseman Arseny Koromyslov to a two-year entry-level contract, aiming to strengthen their defensive lineup moving forward, as they prepare for next season.
Koromyslov, a fourth-round pick from the 2022 draft, had a standout year in the KHL, contributing 17 points in 61 games. Despite the excitement of the final game, the team will now shift its focus to the upcoming 2026-27 season in hopes of a better outcome.
