Montreal Canadiens prospect Alexander Zharovsky arrived in Montreal last week and began on-ice training the very next day at the Canadiens training facility in Brossard. Zharovsky has been training daily with Canadiens player development consultant Paul Byron.
On Saturday, June 10, 2026, fellow prospect Ivan Demidov returned to Montreal, and it is expected that he will soon join Zharovsky for training. Demidov, who led all rookies with 62 points in 82 games last season, has previously expressed his intention to train with Zharovsky this summer.
Both players have demonstrated strong work ethics, including Demidov's commitment to training during the Olympics break. Zharovsky is set to attend the Canadiens development camp in July for the first time after missing last year's edition due to visa issues.
The collaboration between Zharovsky and Demidov could enhance their development as they prepare for future opportunities within the organization.
