Robertson enters 2027 UFA class discussion

Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson has officially joined the 2027 unrestricted free agent class after signing a one-year, $12 million contract. Robertson, who led the Stars with 96 points last season, including 45 goals, previously rejected a reported eight-year, $120 million offer from the Seattle Kraken, reflecting his commitment to Dallas. With veteran Tyler Seguin's contract expiring next season, the Stars would gain additional salary cap flexibility, which could facilitate a more substantial offer for Robertson in the near future.

As Robertson prepares for the upcoming season, he emphasizes a focus on winning a Stanley Cup, stating, 'I just want to focus on having a great summer and coming into camp ready to go.'
