The Edmonton Oilers prospect pool has seen several players significantly raise their stock during the 2025-26 season. Roby Jarventie, who battled injuries previously, scored 47 points with 23 goals and 24 assists in 61 games for the Bakersfield Condors, and made his Oilers debut, although he is set to leave for HC Ambri-Piotta in the Swiss National League next season.

Tommy Lafreniere, the Oilers' first selection in the 2025 NHL Draft, improved his offensive output from 56 points in his draft year to 77 points this past season, showcasing a potential future as a competent third line center.

Viljami Marjala, a 23-year-old Finnish forward, scored 60 points, ranking third on his team, while Samuel Jonsson, a 22-year-old goaltender, had a successful first season in North America with a 21-8-2 record in the ECHL.

Connor Ungar, a 24-year-old goaltender, excelled across multiple teams in the AHL and ECHL, indicating promising depth in the Oilers goaltending prospects. These developments suggest a bright future for the Edmonton Oilers as these players enhance their positions within the organization, potentially impacting future roster decisions, according to Oil on Whyte.
