Cutter Gauthier had a hat trick as the Anaheim Ducks scored six unanswered goals to rally for a 6-3 victory against the Ottawa Senators on November 1, 2026, at Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Gauthier's scoring spree began at 1:35 of the second period after the Ducks found themselves down 3-0.

He capitalized on a misplay by Ottawa's Shane Pinto, lifting the puck over Senators goalie Jonas Johansson. Judd Caulfield contributed two goals and an assist, while Leo Carlsson recorded three assists.

Caulfield cut the deficit to 3-2 at 3:33 of the second period after he slid the puck past Johansson on a rebound. He then tied the game at 3-3 with a power-play goal at 19:18, redirecting a shot from Tristan Luneau.

Gauthier put the Ducks ahead 4-3 just 1:50 into the third period with another goal during a 5-on-3 advantage, and he completed his hat trick 36 seconds later with a one-timer. Roger McQueen added the Ducks' fourth power-play goal at 15:19, beating Johansson through the five-hole.

Claude Giroux had a goal and an assist for the Senators, who have lost three of their last four games. The Senators initially took a 3-0 lead with goals from Philip Tomasino, Giroux, and Michael Amadio, but the Ducks' offensive surge shifted the momentum in their favor.

Ducks goalie Laurent Brossoit made 19 saves in the win, while Johansson stopped 27 shots for the Senators.
