Following the conclusion of his college season at Boston University, where he recorded 17 points in 26 games, Boisvert is expected to sign his entry-level contract soon.

According to The Hockey Writers, he will need to undergo a visa process after signing, which could delay his NHL debut, but insider Marc-Olivier Beaudoin reported that he is en route to Chicago to finalize the deal.

Yahoo Sports noted that despite a disappointing season marred by injuries, the Blackhawks anticipate that Boisvert could make a quick transition to the NHL, potentially debuting as soon as their next games against the Minnesota Wild or the Colorado Avalanche.
